Math Proofs

This is where I learned to prove how math equations work and why you can rely on them. I did this assignment in early 9th grade. It allowed me to grow as a student and push my comprehension of really understanding the why and how of math rather than just memorizing a process.

Pyramids of Egypt

In this assignment our math teacher gave us an imaginary scenario where she was a pharaoh of Egypt and wanted us to find various missing point in an image of old pyramids.I explain how to estimate points, have Desmos write lines for you, and limit those lines. 

Systems Equations Evalutation

In this assignment I worked on mastering one of the principles at the heart of algebra: systems of equations. I worked with word problems to interpret the question to write and equation and then accurately solve it.

Absolute Values  Graphing

Here is a graph of my understanding of absolute values. There are a few word problems where I graph a basic absolute value and then modify different aspects of it to show my understanding of how the equations and graphs interact.

Systems Equations Elimination

Rather than solving the systems of equations with substitution as I did above I now deepened my understanding of systems by solving them a completely different way. I learned how to move different parts of the equation around to make them subtract properly and solve for different variables.
