Musical Expirience
Here is a some music I have played from all over my musical background from when I had only been playing a few years up to the present. It ranges from arrangements of traditional folk music and pieces I arranged myself to standard Solo Bach and Dvorak.
Sophomore Year Solo Recital (2022)
This is a recital I performed when I was 16. I had been playing for six years at that point but it was my first recital. I played a variety of works that ranged from very challenging (such as La Folia) to quite easy (La Cinquantaine).
Bach Partita No. 2 in D minor: Allemand
This Partita is the first Solo Bach I learned and I used it as an audition piece for a competition in the Spring of 2022 as well as performing it for my music school's recital and my own personal recital. It is a lovely haunting piece that shows both tender joy and deep sorrow in the same song and sometimes even at the same time.
La Cinquantaine by Gabriel Marie
I was first introduced to La Cinquantaine after only playing 3 years. I performed it at the music school's recitals and then took a break from it for a while. Then I came back to it after I had been playing for 6 years and used it for an audition piece as well as a piece in my personal recital. It is a very sneaky playful piece that sometimes evokes some sort of fairies or elves.
Excerpt From "Simple Gifts"
This is a piece I performed at a low-key concert for some of my neighbors. It is a traditional folk song that I learned in my school ensemble and also had sung before. I loved it so much I wanted to perform it outside of class so I performed it for my neighborhood.
Son of the Puszta
This is another piece I learned early on and then circled back to later on. I performed it at my solo recital in 2022 and auditioned with it for a local competition. It is a very bold rich piece in a Hungarian style which has an immense variety in emotional tones across it.
La Folia by A. Corelli
La Folia was written in 1672 in the early Baroque Era and translates to "folly" or "madness". It's style is a theme with variations and it has many many different variations so I was able to some arranging by picking and choosing which variations I liked best.
Mazurka by Mylarski
This is a lively piece by a Russian composer and written in the late 19th century. It has many dynamic variations. I performed it for Bay Chamber's winter student recitals in 2023 with my friend Ina on piano again.
Envision Chamber Music Camp 2020
This is a performance I did my freshman year when I attended Envision. I played a Mozart Divertimento which I very much enjoyed. You can find my group's performance at minute 8:45.
Envision Chamber Music Camp 2021
This is a student concert that I participated in as the culmination of a week long chamber music camp called Envision through the Bay Chamber Music School. You will find my performance at minute 36.
Winter Chamber Music Workshop 2021
This is another chamber music workshop offered by Bay Chamber, however, unlike Envision, it is only one day long. This means the end concert is quite informal. Here I play in a quartet with a coach and two other students. We are playing Danzes de Panama by William Grant Still, and go first in the video.

This was the second year the winter chamber workshop ran and I was excited to participate again and I was able to play the Wand of Youth by Elgar arranged for a piano quintet.
Envision Chamber Music Workshop 2022
This year I played L'estro Armoncio, a concerto grosso written by Vivaldi in the 1711 when he worked at a girl's orphanage. I played first violin and worked hard to master the solos that it included.

Bach Partita No. 3 in E major: Loure
This was my recital piece for spring of 2021 but I learned it as part of the project I did where I choreographed a dance to this song and also performed it. Then I participated in the virtual recital at my music school and submitted it again for that.

Bach Double Concerto in D minor
This is a recording I made with one of my close musical friends. We are performing for a church service, they played the pre-recorded clip after the service. We only had a few hours to put this song together although we had looked at the parts before. This was in summer of 2020, when I had been playing for 5 years.
